We are pleased to announce this year's historical exhibition in Chennai titled 'Chola Desam Monuments of Tamil Culture, Arts and Life - An Exhibition on the Legendary Cholas'. The central theme revolves around the idea that the rule of Emperor Rajaraja Chola in the 10th century clearly demonstrated the superiority of Tamil Nadu. Our exhibition aims to showcase the remarkable achievements and glories of the Chola kings
The comprehensive history of the Cholas cannot be presented in a strictly chronological manner, given its vastness; attempting to do so would be akin to confining the ocean within a bowl. Instead, our endeavor is to thoughtfully curate and exhibit select pivotal aspects of their history. Visitors will be reminded of the Cholas' lifestyles, dietary habits, medical practices, art, culture, and religious devotion through a display of their paintings, samples of stone carvings, palm leaf manuscripts, weaponry, and images of the kings.
In the development of this exhibition, we have diligently heeded the guidance of seasoned researchers and leveraged historical evidence derived from stone and palm leaf manuscripts, as well as research articles and findings.
